Pasakara Nanbargal is Movie made on sports is a rarity. When made they never failed to appease masses. Cashing on the fervour, director - actor Firoz Khan has churned out Pasakara Nanbargal that speaks on kick boxing.Through the movie Firoz Khan has introduced his son Ajmal Khan in the movie, who takes the wholeburden in his shoulders and packs it with punch. Firoz besides wielding the megaphone plays his coach in the movie. Set in a school campus, it has a story that is woven around a group of friends. Ajmal is doing the role of a teenager with a mission. Dhina's music provides the necessary pep and there are enough twists and turn to keep the audience engaged.
Playing a role of a student in school, Ajmal Khan is loved by everyone. An orphan brought up in Karunai Illam, Ajmal khan spends all is time with his friends that includes Divya. As in happens, there is one spoilt brat Dinesh in the school, who happens to be kick boxing champion. He is always at loggerheads with Ajmal.Situation leads to the inmates of Karunai Illam being driven out. Ajmal comes to know about a kick boxing championship wherein the winner will get a home. He plans to win it for Karunai Illam. How he accomplishes it with the help of his coach forms the crux.
Ajmal Khan has been learning martial arts since childhood and his father has used it to his strength in the movie. He is good at emotional and stunt scenes. So is Divya, who plays his friend. Firoz impresses in a cameo. The major lacunae is the pace in which the movie unfolds towards the latter part untill the kick boxing scenes begins. Had Firoz instilled pace and made it crisp, Pasakara Nanbargal could have been more sweet.
